Big Dog™ screw in pegs are for use in very soft or muddy conditions only.

Not for use in dry, hard soil.

Made from Aluminium Alloy, the Big Dog™ screw in peg is 35cm long, and has a left aggressive thread, which allows the peg to secure awnings etc. in very soft, sandy, or muddy conditions.

The peg is tapered at the end to assist in making it easier to insert the peg into the ground.

The design incorporates a 19mm hex head, which makes drilling the screw into the ground easy.  If you don’t have a drill, place a thin strong rod through the hole in the top section of the peg, and rotate by hand, to screw the peg in place.

350mm Long

At 350mm long, the Big Dog™ screw in pegs are ideal for gravel and soft ground.  Perfect for stopovers at gravel pits.

Aluminium Alloy

The Big Dog™ screw in pegs are made from an aluminium alloy material, which is lightweight and yet still strong.

Thread

Big Dog screw™ in pegs have a tapered shaft which makes it easy to insert into the ground.  The Big Dog™ screw in peg has an aggresive thread to hold firmly in soft sand and gravel.

Hex Head

Hooks

The top of the Big Dog™ screw in peg has two hooks that make it easy to secure the Safety Spring which is attached to a tie down strap.

Thread a rod

If you don’t have a drill, a rod can be thread through the 12mm hole on the top of the Big Dog™ screw in peg.  You can use the rod to help you screw the Big Dog™ into the soft ground.

19mm Socket and Drill Adaptor

The Big Dog™ screw in pegs have a 19mm hex head, which makes screwing in the pegs easy and fast!  The 19mm head fits both the Big Dog™ screw in pegs, all Outback Tracks screw in pegs, and the stabilizer legs  – this means you only need to carry one size drill socket!
